1. What is the cost of live-in care?

The cost varies and depends on the amount of care expected. Roughly, the cost ranges from £599.00 to £900.00 per week. For more details, kindly check out our live-in care packages guide to live-in care.

2. How long does my designated carer stay?

Your caregiver stays as long as you wish. You and your Live-in can create a pact. The bottom line is that you will have carers for as long as you wish. It is important to note that in case you wish to have a new carer before the agreed time expires, you can call our offices and we shall be glad to offer assistance. Our office runs from Monday to Friday from 9am through 5pm. In addition, we have an emergency line that runs 24/7.

3. How fast can I get the services?

4. How do I arrange home care for myself or a family member?

All our Safehands offices will be happy to talk through your requirements with you over the phone and then arrange a free no-obligation assessment which will normally be carried out in your home. We suggest that at this time you involve any family members you wish, who may have some questions of their own.Having discussed your needs and requirements we will then put together a package that suits your individual requirements and agree a start date.

5. Do you have services for those out of your location?

Safehands Live-in care provide 24 hour care throughout UK, we have experience carers everywhere in the country.

6. Do you ever follow up the progress of the carer and the client?

Since you as our client is our topmost priority, we make it our business to visit you occasionally. This is to ensure that both you and your Live-in carer have a friendly and conducive environment and relationship. When hiring our services, it is important that you bring all your requests and needs to the table.

We appreciate the fact that for us to have a successful and cordial relationship, we must observe the following elements; choice of live-in carer, list of duties and tasks that you expect the carer to meet, our dedication to provide reliable services, living conditions and our management.

7. Are your home care staff trained?

All our staff are trained to the national minimum standards required by the local regulatory bodies. Over and above these, staff are encouraged to undertake personal development and attend additional training courses. Specialist training courses are also provided to staff to ensure that they are fully trained to undertake more complex care needs.

8. Are your home care staff insured?

Yes, all our staff are fully insured for both personal and public liability.

9. Are you registered to provide home care services?

All our offices are registered independently and are inspected by the relevant regulatory bodies of the Care Quality Commission (CQC), Care and Social
